Abbiamo passato una notte tranquilla, il vento è costantemente in calo e lentamente ci avviciniamo alle Azzorre.
Purtroppo la direzione del vento è sempre contraria e questo comporta di dover fare parecchi bordi e questo raddoppia o quasi l’effettiva distanza tra noi e Sao Miguel. Ci mancano 200 miglia ma non prevedo di arrivare prima del 20 sera/21 notte.
Il cielo è ancora nuvoloso e continuiamo a sperare in un raggio di sole per asciugare un po’… Da ieri sera abbiamo un nuovo membro dell’equipaggio, un piccolo uccellino che come la sula voleva un passaggio. Il nuovo inquilino dopo aver giocato tutta la notte con la scotta del Genoa, questa mattina è ripartito chi sa poi per dove? Questa mattina un branco di delfini ci ha dato il buongiorno!

We spent a quiet night, the wind is constantly decreasing and we slowly approach the Azores. Unfortunately, the direction of the wind is always the opposite and this involves having to make several edges and this doubles or almost doubles the effective distance between us and Sao Miguel. We have 200 miles to go but I don’t plan to arrive before the 20th / 21st night. The sky is still cloudy and we keep hoping for a ray of sunshine to dry a little …Since last night we have a new crew member, a small bird who, like the gannet, wanted a ride. The new tenant, after playing all night with Genoa’s sheet, left this morning who knows where to?This morning a pod of dolphins said good morning!
