Questa notte per la prima volta da quando siamo partiti abbiamo incontrato qualche groppo che ha portato giri di vento e qualche goccia d’acqua, per mantenere la rotta abbiamo navigato con randa e genoa un po’tangonati e un po’ al traverso, a secondo dei salti di vento. Tutto sommato è stata un’ altra giornata positiva che ci ha permesso di guadagnare miglia verso i Caraibi. Le previsioni continuano a dare un calo di vento per le prossime 24ore e anche in quelle successive: abbiamo un aliseo molto moderato, per questo stiamo continuando a navigare verso Sud, dove dovremmo avere qualche nodo in piu’ di vento. Le giornate scorrono veloci e il sole a queste latitudini è sempre piu’caldo e qualche secchiata di acqua di mare ci aiuto a rinfrescarci. Ora stiamo navigando sotto spi con 13 nodi di vento da NE.

Last night for the first time since we left we encountered some storms which brought shifts of wind and a few drops of water, to maintain the course we sailed with the mainsail and genoa a little twisted and a little abeam, depending on of wind shifts. It was another positive day that allowed us to gain miles towards the Caribbean. The forecast continues to show a drop in wind for the next 24 hours and also in the following ones: we have a very moderate trade wind, which is why we are continuing to sail towards the South, where we should have a few more knots of wind. The days pass quickly and the sun at these latitudes is increasingly hotter and a few buckets of sea water help us cool down. We are now sailing under spinnaker with 13 knots of wind from the NE.
